Thallus thin, smooth, dull. Ascomata conspicuous, scattered, hemispherical to subglobose, sometimes constricted at the base, concolorous with the thallus, 0.6–1.0 mm diam., 0.5–0.7 mm tall. Proper exciple thick, entire, completely covered by a thalline coating. Hymenium 200–450 µm thick. Ascospores 1 per ascus, elongate-ellipsoidal, 50–70 × 6–8-locular,
220–280 × 25–45 µm. CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected. |
